Bella hails from a nomadic tribe that called the Tail Mountains- a range of mountains separating the Azim Steppe from the Dalvanth Grath- home. Since arriving in Eorzea, she's spent most of her time fighting on the Frontlines (though she's since slowed in this pursuit), or forging weapons, and armor; and as a result has made a name for herself as a reliable craftswoman and skilled fighter. Honest, and easy-going she does her best to get along with everyone and is happy to help both friends, and strangers in need.
She's spent most of her life with a 'gifted' name, "Bella(donna)" a gift from a now departed friend, "Styrnlona" a nickname earned during her service in the Maelstrom.
She's survived fighting on the front line of both the Dragonsong War, and the Calamity.
Since her retirement from the Maelstrom, she's carved a niche for herself as a Blacksmith/Armorer, with a specific interest in aether manipulation and focusing.
She is the only surviving member of her tribe.
